Michael K. Jackson

We are delighted to announce that Michael K. Jackson has been appointed as Senior International Trade Specialist with the U.S. Commercial Service in Baltimore.

Michael is a NASBITE Certified Global Business Professional and brings more than 15 years of experience assisting small businesses in the international trade finance arena. Prior to joining CS Baltimore, Michael was the Lead Business Development Specialist at the Export-Import Bank of the U.S. (EXIM) with responsibly for export finance education, training, outreach, and partnerships with veteran, minority, and women-owned businesses, associations, and organizations. 

Michael will be assisting businesses in the energy, agribusiness, cosmetics, and financial technology and services industries. A Caribbean native, Michael grew up in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, and is a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

I began my federal career in 2008 with the SBA’s Baltimore District Office before joining EXIM Bank in 2011. After more than 10 years, I’ve come full circle. It’s great to be back in Baltimore and to once again be of service to Maryland’s export-ready companies!”
